Shaviyani Maaungodhoo School library has been reopened after renovation works with the financial assistance of Maaungodhoo Council.
At the ceremony held after completing the work and re-opening the library, Maungodhoo Council stated that they hoped that the library will provide a convenient modern service to the students. Moreover, President of Maungodhoo Council Adam Shameem told stated that the council has spent close to MVR 100,000 from the council’s budget for the renovation and reopening of the school’s library.
According to Shameem, school’s library has been completely renovated with new bookshelves, new ceiling, and changing tiles to vinyl flooring. In addition, Shameem noted that electrical works (changing the old wiring) was carried under Fenaka CSR by Maaungodhoo Fenaka Team.
Currently, more than 200 students are studying at Maungodhoo School.
