Ooredoo Maldives has upgraded “Evee” its Artificial Intelligence (AI) powered Digital Care Assistant and launched its brand new Dhivehi font.

With the upgrade to “Evee” customers can now interact in local language with Digital Care Assistant. “Evee” was upraded in line with Ooredoo’s new tagline “Upgrade Your World” emphasising the company’s continued commitment to drive our services to the next level and make it more inclusive through localised communications which connects more with customers.

As part of the celebration of the debut of its new visual identity for the Ooredoo brand, Ooredoo Maldives also launched a brand-new Dhivehi font. Ooredoo’s personality and the company’s journey in step with current technology and the progress it has been bringing to the business resonate with the recently implemented strategic changes to its corporate identity under its worldwide campaign “Upgrade Your World”. This change reflects the company’s vision of creating opportunities that open up with technology.

Ooredoo Maldives’ Digital Assistant, Evee enables mobile users in the Maldives to easily engage with Ooredoo via 929 hotline to check data, SMS, Voice and bill balances. Additionally, Evee enables mobile users in the Maldives to easily engage with Ooredoo via Facebook Messenger and Viber platform to check best offers, data add-ons, or manage Ooredoo services using real-time automated answers eliminating the waiting time on the call to reach a customer care agent. 

Evee will also allow users to check their Data, SMS, Voice, and bill balances easily via 929. Similar to other Bots, Evee is currently in the learning phase to interact with customers in Dhivehi and will continue to improve user experience through machine learning as she interacts more and more with customers. 

Continuing its efforts to revolutionize digital customer experience in the Maldives, Ooredoo Maldives will further invest in the AI-Powered Digital Care Assistant “Evee” to further evolve the service, introduce additional features and transform customer interactions on a multitude of digital channels. 

Evee was initially launched on October 20, 2019, in English and since then, the services via the Bot have evolved and streamlined services for its customers.
