Sh. Narudhoo has secured the second slot in the final of the Futsal competition of Tourism 50, Mila Uthuru Sports Fiesta 2022, organized by the Shaviyani Atoll Council with the assistance of the Ministry of Tourism.
The second semi-final match of the tournament was played at the Narudhoo Futsal Ground yesterday evening. Narudhoo won the match 3-2 to seal a place in the final of the tournament. Ismail Shafiu of Narudhoo team was selected as the best player of the match.
The final match of the tournament between Funadhoo and Naradhoo will be played today evening at the Narudhoo Futsal Ground.
In addition to the Futsal tournament, Mila Uthuru Handball Tournament for women from Shaviyani Atoll is also scheduled to be held at the fiesta. The handball competition, which was participated by 10 teams from 10 islands of Shaviyani Atoll, will begin on November 22.
