Community Volunteer Fire Fighting Programme held in Ha. Dhidhdhoo concluded

Community Volunteer Fire Fighting Programme held for the citizens of Ha. Dhidhdhoo has concluded.

Maldives National Defense Force (MNDF) Northern Area Command held a ceremony on October 12 to conclude the programme. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commander of MNDF Northern Area Command Lieutenant Colonel Mohamed Nazim. Colonel Mohamed Nazim handed over the certificates to the participants who completed Programme.

Moreover, President of Dhidhdhoo Council Abdulla Rasheed handed over the appreciation letters to instructors of the programme from MNDF Northern Area Command, Fire and Rescue Service Component.

Furthermore, a total of 20 participants from both genders participated and 18 participants completed the Community Volunteer Fire Fighting Programme conducted from October 4, 2022, to October 12, 2022. The programme was conducted with the assistance of the Dhidhdhoo Council and the people of Dhidhdhoo.

During the programme, participants were briefed on the main causes of the fire and how to extinguish the fire and practical sessions were held on how to use fire extinguishers.
