Ha. Thuraakunu Council to provide Water Purifiers on installment basis to households

Ha. Thuraakunu Council has decided to provide water purifiers to households in the island on an installment basis.

The council stated that 20 water purifiers will be provided in the first phase of the project, and that the estimated price of the purifier provided under the project is between MVR 4,500 to MVR 5,000. Moreover, the council stated that payment for the Water purifiers can be paid in a one time payment or in installments within 12 months.

According to the council, the purpose of providing water purifiers to households is to provide safe drinking water to the people, and to reduce the use of single-use plastics in the island.

Therefore, the council requests those who are interested in purchasing water purifiers to note their names at the council before 1200hrs of October 20, 2022.

In addition, council requested those who wish to inquire further information to mail to [email protected] before 1330hrs of October 18, 2022, or to contact 6500035 between 0830hrs to 1330hrs during week days.
