Narudhoo, Maroshi, Goidhoo, Kanditheem, Funadhoo and Lhaimagu have won the second day matches of Futsal competition of Tourism 50, Mila Uthuru Sports Fiesta 2022, organized by the Shaviyani Atoll Council with the assistance of the Ministry of Tourism.
The competition is played in three groups, while Group A matches are played in Narudhoo. Narudhoo won the group A match between Foakaidhoo and Narudhoo 1-0. Maroshi won the second match of the group with a 3-0 win over Feevah.
Group B matches are played in Feydhoo, where two matches were played yesterday evening. Goidhoo beat Bileffahi 4-2 in the first match. Kanditheemu won the second match against Feydhoo 3-2. Group C matches are played in Lhaimagu yesterday. Funadhoo beat Komandoo 3-2 in the first match. Maaungoodhoo defeated Lhaimagu 3-0 in the second match.
In addition to the Futsal tournament, Mila Uthuru Handball Tournament for women from Shaviyani Atoll is also scheduled to be held at the fiesta. The handball competition, which was participated by 10 teams from 10 islands of Shaviyani Atoll, will begin on November 21.
