Yesterday’s matches of RVSA Women’s Handball Tournament 2022, organized by Hoarafushi RV Sports Academy, were won by Hoarafushi Baavees Sports Club and Team Maarandhoo.
The first match of the match was played between Baavees Sports Club and Ihavandhoo IMAGU. The match was won 7-15 by Baavees Sports Club. Mariyam Maya from Baavees Sports Club was selected as the best player of the match.
The second match was played between Team Maarandhoo and Hoarafushi Airport team. Maarandhoo won the match 13-17. Rishtha from Team Maarandhoo was selected as the best player of the match.
The Tournament was open for the Haa Alifu Atoll and the winning team will receive a cash prize of MVR 15,000. Thiladhun Online News is the media partner of the Tournament.
RV Sports Academy was registered in 2020. Currently, more than 100 students in two age groups are training in football as well as handball. The academy has been successfully operating for more than a year.
