HDh. Nellaidhoo Women’s Development Committee (WDC) has distributed Tote bags to the households in the island.
According to Nellaidhoo Council to create interest among the residents of the island in using environmentally friendly equipment, to encourage not to use plastic bags and to reduce the use of plastic bags WDC has distributed Tote bags to every household in the island in collaboration with Ooredoo Maldives.
Moreover, Nellaidhoo WDC President Leela Mohamed stated Tote bags have been distributed to all inhabited houses in the island today with the aim of reducing the use of plastic bags, and bags were distributed by the WDC members.
Furthermore, Leela thanked Nellaidhoo Council for their support in implementing the committee’s decisions. Leela also thanked Ooredoo for its support in the event.
