Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that construction of ward building and ICU in the Kulhudhuffushi Regional Hospital (KRH) has been completed.

According to MTCC, the ward building of the hospital will have 30 beds which can provide medical gas to patients. Moreover, the company also stated that six ICU rooms have been developed on the second floor of the hospital.

While MTCC is working to develop KRH, 64 percent of the OPD building has been completed. Also, under the project point wiring, fittings, masonry and plastering work also have been completed.

Under the project, an OPD building, a ward building, an ICU unit and a laboratory building will be constructed.

The value of the project is MVR 30.3 million.
