The 87th “Furaavaru” camp organized by Maldives Police Service has been concluded successfully.

The camp was held in HDh. Makunudhoo from 8-10 of this month as part of the “Amaanveshi Programme” conducted by the Crime Prevention and Public Affairs of the Police Service.

In the 3 days camp held at Makunudhoo was completed by 103 students from Makunudhoo School and 23 students from Sh. Goidhoo School and certificates has been awarded at the closing ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Assistant Commissioner of Police Ahmed Abdul Rahman.

In the Camp Students were taught best practices to use in life, life guidance, encouraging them to stay on the right path away from the crimes, respecting others, etc. Moreover, information sessions were held for parents as well. The camp was conducted by the police officers with experience in conducting such camps.

Recently, the 84th “Furaavaru” camp was held at Ha. Utheemu Ghaazee Bandaarain School was with 131 students from Ghaazee Bandaarain School, Ha. Muraidhoo School, Ha. Vashafaru School, Ha. Filladhoo School and HDh. Kurinbi School.  And 85th “Furaavaru” camp in Sh. Funadhoo with 117 students from Funadhoo School.
