The training programme conducted on VIYA (Councils Finance Module) and how to prepare the financial statements of local councils held for the island councils of Haa Dhaalu Atoll has concluded.
The programme was conducted by the Haa Alifu Dhaalu Council with the assistance of Local Government Authority. The four day programme was conducted from September 5-8, 2022.
Moreover, the programme was held at the Kulhuduffushi City. A total of 31 employees from atoll council, Kulhuduffushi City council, and island councils who works in finance and procurement participated in the training programme.
The facilitators of the training programme were technical staff from the Local Government Authority, Ministry of Finance and the Auditor General’s Office.
In addition, recently similar workshop was held at the Haa Alifu Atoll and total of 36 employees from atoll councils and 14 island councils who works in finance and procurement participated in the training programme.
