Sara Hussain Salah has been selected for the first place in the Sh. Feydhoo Council Quran Competition 1444 held by Feydhoo Council.

The purpose of the competition, which was held from September 2 to 3, is to create a competitive environment in the island that will create the capacity to learn and recite the Holy Quran in accordance Tajweed, to inculcate love for the Holy Quran in the hearts of the people of Feydhoo, and to revive the art of reciting the Quran. Moreover, developing students who can compete at national level, and selecting students for the atoll competition.

According to the Feydhoo Council President Ahmed Raisham, holding the competition every year is an electoral pledge of the current council. The competition was the first Quran Competition held by the Feydhoo Council. A total of 67 students from 7 age groups participated in the competition.

Furthermore, from the non-memorized category Mohamed Alham Saeed was selected as the first, Mohamed Razan as second, Elaaf Abdulla Saeed as third, from memorized category Sara Hussain Salah selected as the first, Aishath Neem Ahmed as second, Naureen Binthi Abdulla Saeed as third, and from whole competition Sara Hussain Salah was selected as the first, Aishath Neem Ahmed as second, and Mohamed Alham Saeed selected for the third place.

Feydhoo Council thanked the citizens of Feydhoo, Fenaka Corporation and Islamic Ministry for their assistance in holding the competition.
