A hydroponics and home gardening training programme has commenced in HDh. Nellaidhoo.

Nellaidhoo Council stated that the programme is being conducted in collaboration with the Council, Ministry of Fisheries, Marine Resources and Agriculture and the Women’s Development Committee (WDC) of the island.

According to the council, total 41 people from both genders, 34 women and 7 men participated in the programme, which began on Sunday. Moreover, Vice president of Nellaidhoo Council Ahmed Rasheed stated that the programme will provide participants with important information and training on hydrophonics and home gardening.

The programme scheduled from August 28, 2022 to September 6, 2022, for 10days is conducted free of charge.
