The 85th “Furaavaru” camp organized by Maldives Police Service has been concluded successfully.

The camp was held in Sh. Funadhoo from 18-20 of this month as part of the “Amaanveshi Programme” conducted by the Crime Prevention and Public Affairs of the Police Service.

In the 3 days camp held at Funadhoo was completed by 117 students from Funadhoo School and certificates has been awarded at the closing ceremony. The ceremony was attended by Deputy Commissioner of Police Ali Rasheed.

In the Camp Students were taught best practices to use in life, life guidance, encouraging them to stay on the right path away from the crimes, respecting others, etc. Moreover, information sessions were held for parents as well. The camp was conducted by the police officers with experience in conducting such camps.

Recently, the 84th “Furaavaru” camp held at Ha. Utheemu Ghaazee Bandaarain School was with 131 students from Ghaazee Bandaarain School, Ha. Muraidhoo School, Ha. Vashafaru School, Ha. Filladhoo School and HDh. Kurinbi School.
