The new powerhouse in Ha. Uligan has been brought in to operations.
Fenaka Corporation developed a new powerhouse in Uligan since they cannot provide the service using the existing powerhouse for the citizens of the island. According to the company, the existing new powerhouse was shut down and newly built powerhouse was brought to operations on August 14, 2022, after 26 years.
The newly built powerhouse is 304.58 square meters. The previous powerhouse was a 70 square meters. Moreover, in addition to the powerhouse, 158.26 square meters Fenaka office building has also was opened along with the powerhouse.
Fenaka’s office building has a meeting room, a room for manager, reception and lobby, general office, store room, pantry and kitchen, deg room, control room, work shop, store, toilets, chimney, day tank, diesel tank have been constructed at the powerhouse.
The new powerhouse has a capacity of 3 generator sets of 400 kilowatts. However, a 458 kW generator is currently used in the island.
