The 84th “Furaavaru” camp organized by Maldives Police Service has been concluded successfully.
The camp was held in Utheemu from 11-13 of this month as part of the “Amaanveshi Programme” conducted by the Crime Prevention and Public Affairs of the Police Service.
In the 3 days camp held at Utheemu Ghaazee Bandaarain School was attended by 131 students from Ghaazee Bandaarain School, Ha. Muraidhoo School, Ha. Vashafaru School, Ha. Filladhoo School and HDh. Kurinbi School.
In the Camp Students were taught best practices to use in life, life guidance, encouraging them to stay on the right path away from the crimes, respecting others, etc. Moreover, information sessions were held for parents as well.
The camp was organized jointly by the Crime Prevention and Public Affairs of the Maldives Police Service and the Haa Alifu Atoll Police Stations, in collaboration with Utheemu Council and 5 Schools participated in the camp was conducted by the police officers with experience in conducting such camps.
