Haa Alifu Atoll council has purchased Human Resource (HR) software for theĀ Island councils of the Atoll.
Haa Alifu Atoll Council stated that this was part of the efforts to strengthen the operations of the Island councils and digitalization of administrative works of the councils in the atoll.
According to the council, the project to familiarize the newly introduced HR software is being carried out by the developers in the Islands from August 9 onwards. Employees of five councils have been briefed so far.
With the help of the software, councils can maintain a wide range of administrative works of the employees of island councils and mosques, such as attendance, holidays, salaries and allowances, attendance of members of Women’s Development Committees (WDC), inventory of councils and stock management without using the paper. Moreover, the programme will also provide employees with important information such as how to check attendance and holidays through the mobile application.
The project is a major technology project funded by the Atoll Council. As per Atoll council, councils aim is to digitalize the services provided by the councils to the people in the future. There are 14 inhabited islands in Haa Alifu Atoll.
