Kulhudhuffushi City Council has visited the Family and Children Service Centre (FCSC) in Kulhudhuffushi City and inquired about the challenges faced by the centre.

Kulhudhuffushi City Council stated that the council had visited the Family and Children’s Service Centre and met with the staff.

During the visit, discussions were held on the progress of the work of the centre, the challenges faced in providing services, and ways to improve the services by collaboratively working.

Moreover, the council also inquired about what the city council could do for the centre and what should be shared with the ministry through the city council. During the meeting, discussions were also held on ways to work together on social issues faced in the city.

After the visit city council noted that additional resources and staff were also required to expand the services of the center. Therefore, the council stated that the council will work collaboratively with the Gender Ministry to find a solution to the issue faced by the FCSC.

The visit was led by Kulhudhuffushi City Mayor Mohamed Athif and South Central Council member Athifa Ali also took part in the meeting.
