A Domestic Appliance Safety Programme has commenced in Nolhivaranfaru.
The programme, conducted collaboratively by the Maldives Institute of Technology and the Nolhivaranfaru Women’s Development Committee (WDC).
The programme commenced is scheduled to continue for three days. Moreover, according to the President of the Nolhivaranfaru WDC Nazmeena Ahmed the purpose of the programme is to teach the safe use of household electricity equipment and to make the island’s women capable of solving minor issues faced while using those equipment.
Furthermore, Nazmeena thanked the Maldives Institute of Technology, Nolhivaranfaru Council and the participants of the programme for their continued support in successfully conducting such a programme.
The programme is being conducted with a total of 30 participants.
