Desks and Chairs required for the new six classrooms constructed at HDh. Nolhivaram School has been loaded onto a boat to send it to the island.
Nolhivaram School has been facing difficulties due to space constraints for several years. It has been more than six months since it was handed over to the Ministry. The residents of the island recently have been expressing concern over the lack of equipment required to start using the classrooms by the beginning of the academic year.
According to the Principal of Nolhivaram School Adnan Ali, only Desks and Chairs are missing to start the teaching in the new classrooms and as the Ministry has always assured that it will be available before the new academic year, and that it is very happy to see that has happened.
Adnan further stated that the hope is that Nolhivaram School will become a single session school without delay, and that it is the hope of the people of Nolhivaram to ensure that it is facilitated smoothly.
Adnan also thanked the Education Minister and the staff of the Ministry for arranging equipment for the new six classrooms.
In addition, the Principal stated that Nolhivaram School is one of the most populous schools in the atolls. And he noted that 12 classrooms are still required to change Nolhivaram School to a single session.
