Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that precast concrete blocks required for the quay wall construction of Sh. Feydhoo Harbour Development project has been delivered to the project site.
MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that preparations are underway to install precast concrete blocks.
Under the project to develop Sh. Feydhoo Harbour Company has to dredge 27500 cubic meter of new harbour basin, construction of a 378 meter breakwater, a 90 meter revetment, and a 276 meter quay wall. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights and construction of 1380 square meter of paved area will also be undertaken.
The project is worth MVR 35.6 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbors.
