Leightwolf and Amigos have reached the final of the Narudhoo Council Futsal Tournament 2022 after winning the semifinal matches.
Leightwolf won the match 4-0 against Blackconer. Mohamed Azumoon and Mohamed Junaid scored goals for the Leightwolf. Junaid scored three goals and he was also selected as the man of the match.
The second match was played between Furious and Amigos. Amigos won the match 3-1. Ali Ramzee, Ahmed Thasneem and Mohamed Naaiz scored for Amigos in the match. The only goal the Furious scored was scored by Nihan Thoaha.
According to the Narudhoo Council, the purpose of the competition include the development of Futsal in Narudhoo and the development of football skills of the island’s youth. And total six teams participated in the competition
Speaking about the competition, Narudhoo Council Officer Mahir stated that the competition was a football competition held in the island many years ago. However, this year it is changed to Futsal competition since the Island’s football ground is currently under construction.
Final Match of the tournament will be played today at Narudhoo Futsal Ground.
