As part of the Thiladhunmathi Dhathuru, sessions held in Ha. Utheemu has been concluded successfully.
Thiladhunmathi Dhathuru is a programme planned to be held in all inhabited Islands of the Haa Alif and Haa Dhaalu Atoll, which is organized by Unity, a NGO of Ihavandhoo in collaboration with Jamiyyath Salaf and other NGOs from Thiladhunmathi and councils of Thiladhunmathi.
Total of three sessions were held as part of the program. First session was held for the Women’s of the Island. A religious awareness program and a workshop was held for the women. Second session was held after Asru prayer at the mosque. And for the third session a forum was held at the Boduthakurufaanu Memorial Center. These sessions were taken by Sheik Mujthaba Hameed and Ahmed Hameed Adam.
According to the Vice President of Unity and Coordinator of the programme Hussain Salim that the purpose of the trip to Thiladhunmathi is to expand the Islamic invitation in the islands of Thiladhunmathi, promote unity among individuals, and spread Islamic unity in collaboration with all islands.
The part of the programme which is planned in Haa Alifu Atoll will be held from July 23-28, 2022. And the Haa Dhaalu Atoll programme is scheduled to be held in August. Moreover, programme organizer Unity stated that the events to be held in each island will be decided by the island’s organizing committee.
