Construction of 400 housing units in Kulhudhuffushi City awarded to contractor

Ministry of National Planning, Housing, and Infrastructure has awarded the project to develop 400 housing units in Kulhudhuffushi City under Design and Build basis to the joint venture of Donbez Private Limited and the 23rd Metallurgical Construction Group Company Limited. 

Director General Ahmed Vishan Naseem signed the agreement on behalf of the government to contract the construction of 400 housing units in Kulhudhuffushi City and Head of Operations at Dhonbez Ali Hamdhoon signed the agreement on behalf of the company.

Under the project 400 housing units will be constructed, each measuring 1,000 sq ft. Moreover, all the housing units will consist of three bedrooms, three bathrooms and one sitting room. The units will also have a kitchen, laundry room, and a storeroom. The area surrounding the housing units will be developed with a courtyard and parking area.

The MVR 439.99 million project was awarded to the company to b e completed in 540 days.
