Sh. Funadhoo Council has visited some islands of Kaafu Atoll on an experience trip.
According to Funadhoo Council, along with Funadhoo Council, President of Funadhoo Atoll Council Mohamed Shiyam also participated in the trip.
During their visit K. Atoll, Funadhoo Council team first visited K. Guraidhoo and met with the Island Council and the Women’s Development Committee (WDC) to exchange experiences. The team also visited the Centre for People with Special Needs in the island.
Moreover, the team visited K. Gulhi and K. Maafushi. And the council team will conclude their trip and return to Funadhoo today.
Furthermore, according to Funadhoo Council President Ahmed Ibrahim Fulhu the main purpose of the trip was to gain experience on local tourism as they plan to introduce tourism to the island and to make a way for the people of the Island to generate income from the tourism.
