Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that 92% of the Ihavandhoo Harbour Development project has been completed.
MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that they have commenced installation of light post and construction of revetment.
Under the project to develop Ihavandhoo Harbour MTCC has to dredge 30509 cubic meter of harbour basin, construction of a 284 meter breakwater, a 178 meter revetment, and 95 meter quay wall. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights, and developing a 4582 square meter paved area will be undertaken.

The project is worth MVR 59.07 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
