Feydhoo Council has concluded Handball competition held for the women and a Futsal competition held for men.
According to Feydhoo Council President Ahmed Raisam Handball competitions were held open to the institutions in the island and Futsal competition was open to the entire island.
Four teams competed in the council handball competition, while Feydhoo School’s handball team won the competition. Moreover, six teams competed in the futsal tournament held for men, while Bafana Sports Club won the competition.
Furthermore, Feydhoo Council awarded MVR 10,000 to champion team of both competition and runner-up teams were also awarded a cash prize of MVR 5,000. In addition, Raisam thanked the youth, organizations and institutions of the island for their support in the competition.
