Opportunity has been opened to participate in the Viyavathi Quran Competition, which is being held for all islands of Shaviyani Atoll.
The competition is being held in collaboration with Shaviyani Atoll Council, Island Councils and Schools. The purpose of the competition is to inculcate love for the Holy Quran in the hearts of the people of Shaviyani Atoll, to inculcate the art of reciting the Quran, and to build a capable generation to represent the atoll in national competitions.
According Shaviyani Atoll Council announced, this year’s Viyavathi Quran Competition will be held in September this year. Therefore, the Atoll Council has requested schools in Shaviyani Atoll to prepare the team list in accordance with the regulations of the competition and send the team list May 26, 2022.
Viyavathi Quran Competition has been held annually since 2006 by the Shaviyani Atoll Council.
