55% of GDh. Faresmaathoda Airport Development project completed: MTCC

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that 55% of GDh. Faresmaathoda Airport Development project has been completed.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that 87% of Fire building and 70% of runway construction is completed and underway.

Under the project subgrade and subbase of 1200 meter runway, a taxiway, an apron, a fire pad and a fire road will be established. In addition, construction of a fire building and terminal building will be carried out.

The project is worth MVR 144.8 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
