Ha. Thuraakunu North point Lantern post has been relocated.
According to Thuraakunu Council North point Lantern post has been relocated and improved in a collaborated work with Thuraakunu Council, Fenaka Thuraakunu Branch and Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC).
Moreover, Thuraakunu Council thanked all who assisted in relocating the Lantern post. Thuraakunu council specially thanked Chief Executive Officer of MTCC Adam Azim and Hoarafushi MP Ahmed Saleem. Council also thanked public for their assistance.
In 2021, due to the heavy rain and erosion, Lantern post was separated from the island and Lantern was damaged.
