Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that first shipment of rock boulders required for Lh. Kurendhoo Coastal Protection project has been delivered to project site.
Under the project to protect the coastal area of Kurendhoo MTCC has to add 9100 cubic meters of sand to beach, construct a 361 meters of breakwater, and 822 meters revetment.
The project is worth MVR 44.9 million.
MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
