HDh. Kumundhoo Ferry Hut construction commenced

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced the construction of HDh. Kumundhoo Ferry Hut under the Kumundhoo Ferry Stop.

The ferry stop is being built under Integrated National Public Ferry Network project facilitating RTL phase 1 zone 1. The project has commenced in Haa Alifu Atoll and Haa Dhaalu Atoll.

The ferry stop will include a kiosk, a waiting area and separate toilets for men and women.

Currently, RTL operates ferries in Haa Alif Atoll. Under the project, the country will be connected by a ferry network. In addition, MTCC has completed the Ha. Ihavandhoo ferry terminal and completed the ferry huts in HDh. Neykurendhoo, HDh. Naaveedhoo and HDh. Finey.
