STO Board approves to distribute MVR 65 per share

The Board State Trading Organization (STO) has been decided to distribute MVR 65 per share.

Although the board of STO approved the amount of profits to be distributed, the amount will be distributed with the approval of the Annual General Meeting. The date of the company’s Annual General Meeting has not been announced yet.

STO’s net profit after tax was MVR 478 million last year. This is an increase of 33% compared to the previous year.

The company distributed MVR 60 per share last year. In 2020, MVR 58 per share was distributed. The company distributed MVR 58 per share in 2019 and 2018.
