Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has brought in additional buses to expand transport services in Male’ City.
The buses were brought on May 11, 2022. CEO of MTCC Adam Azim tweeted photos of the buses at the Male’ port.
According to Azim, the buses will provide a permanent solution to the transport issues faced by the residents of the Hulhumale’ second phase. Moreover, he stated that buses were brought in accordance with president Ibrahim Mohamed Solih’s decision.
Azim further noted that the buses will begin operations from next month onwards. And fifteen of these buses are planned to be brought in.
