Waste Management Corporation (WAMCO) has announced that they have changed waste collection hours.
According to WAMCO, waste collection time during Ramadan has now been changed back to normal, therefore, waste collection from households in Male’ City will be from 1800hrs to 2300hrs.
WAMCO made several changes to its waste collection services due to the COVID-19 pandemic. However, with ease of restriction implemented due to the pandemic they have resumed normal services.
In addition, WAMCO instructed customers to seal the garbage bags, not to put anything in the garbage bags that could harm the employees, and to seek separate services to dispose of large amounts of waste.
