Hirimaradhoo Council Quran Competition to be held in June

Hirimaradhoo Council has opened the opportunity to participate in the Hirimaradhoo Council Quran Competition 2022 to be held in June 24 and 25.

According to Council, the competition was opened for students of Quran Class in Hirimaradhoo. Therefore students of the Quran class who wish to participate in the competition are open to submit their application forms to the Hirimaradhoo Council before 1400hrs on May 31, 2022.

The application form for the competition will be available from the reception of the Council, and the rules and regulations of the competition have also been published with announcement. Moreover, competition will be held in seven age groups and they can either participate in memorize category or without memorize category.

Hirimaradhoo Council stated that the purpose of the competition is to create a competitive environment in Hirimaradhoo that creates competition for teaching and learnming the Holy Quran in accordance with the principles of the Tajwid, to inculcate love for the Holy Quran in the hearts of the people of the Island, and to revive the art of reciting the Quran.
