Fees for waste collection services in Milandhoo and Foakaidhoo waived during Ramadan

Shaviyani Atoll Milandhoo and Foakaidhoo council have decided not to charge the monthly fee for waste management services in the Islands.

According to the Milandhoo Council, as a Ramadan gift council will be paying the fee charged for waste management services in the island during the month of Ramadan. Moreover, Foakaidhoo Council aslo announced that they will not charge a fee for waste management services provided during the month of Ramadan.

In addition, Councils of some other Islands have also decided not to charge fees for the for waste management services during the Holy Month of Ramadan.
