Fenaka Institute for Training and Research has been registered as a National Trade Test Centre.

A quality assurance agreement was signed between Skills Development Authority and Fenaka Institute today under the National Trade Testing and Certification Program conducted by Maldives National Skills Development Authority.

The Trade Testing Centre Registration certificate was presented by CEO of Skills Development Authority Ahmed Nasheed at a ceremony held at Fenaka Headquarters. Nasheed stated that he hope Fenaka Institute would carry out the trade testing work at a rapid pace.

Skills Development Authority has established a system to provide official skills qualifications to Maldivians who have not received a certificate from the official training system. Under the Trade Testing and Certification Program, a national certificate will be presented to those who pass the national examination to determine the technical skills required for the job.

The National Examinations or National Assessment slated under the program will be conducted to ensure that the competencies set out in the National Competency Standards of the Maldives National Skills Development Authority have been achieved.

In addition to Fenaka Institute, Maldives Polytechnic, Maldives Institute of Technology, Zikra International College, Villa College and Maritime Academy of Maldives have registered as Trade Test Centres.
