Gdh. Faresmaathoda Airport Development project progressing at a fast pace

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that Gdh. Faresmaathoda Airport Development project progressing at a fast pace.

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that asphalt concrete laying works for airport runway wearing course are currently underway.

Under the project subgrade and subbase of 1200 meter runway, a taxiway, an apron, a fire pad and a fire road will be established. In addition, construction of a fire building and terminal building will be carried out.

The project is worth MVR 144.8 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
