Maldivian commences flights to Sri Lanka

The national airline of Maldives, Maldivian, has commenced operations to Ratmalana International Airport in Sri Lanka.

International flights to Ratmalana Airport has also resumed after 55 years with the flight of Maldivian. Also, Maldivian commenced operations to Sri Lanka after 10 years. And Maldivian flight to Ratmalana was welcomed with a water salute.

Moreover, Maldivian’s flight was welcomed at Rathmalana Airport by Sri Lankan Youth and Sports Minister Namal Rajapaksa and other senior officials of Sri Lanka and Maldives.

Furthermore, Maldivian will operate three weekly flights to Sri Lanka. The flights will be operated on Sundays, Tuesdays and Thursdays. And return fare to Ratmalana is MVR3312 on Promo fare and MVR3988 on Economy Flex fare.
