Ha. Ihavandhoo Health Center to begin Pediatric Consultations

Ihavandhoo Aamina Dhiyo Health Center to begin Pediatric Consultation in the Island.

According to the Health Center Pediatric Doctor was warmly welcomed by the Ihavandhoo Council, Health Center and Other institutions of the Island when he arrived to the Island.

Moreover, according to the Manager of Health Center Mohamed Akram stated that the doctor’s services will be available six days a week. He further stated that there are 1200 children’s under the age of 16 are currently residing in the island. And this is the first specialist doctor to join the Health Centre in Ihavandhoo.

In addition, Ihavandhoo Health Center commenced laboratory testing services last year. These include Thyroid tests, Ferritin tests, HBA1c tests, and Troponin I test services to identify heart problems such as heart attacks.

Ihavandhoo has a population of over 3,300 people.
