An agreement has been signed between Kurinbi Council and Havilla Carpentry to build a Children’s park in Island.
The agreement was signed by the Head of Havilla Carpentry Mohamed Saleem and Vice President of Kurinbi Council Mohamed Siyah signed the agreement on behalf of the council.
Vice President of Kurinbi Council Mohamed Siyah stated that to build the park, money will be spent from the council’s budget. Moreover, according to Siyah, the main purpose of such work is to provide comfortable environment for children to play. He also stated that such parks are planned to be established in different parts of the island in the future.
The project was awarded to the company for MVR 224,750 to be completed within 58 days. In addition, council has given a period of 10 days to procure additional equipment required for the project.
