50% of Girifushi Harbour Development project completed: MTCC

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the 50% of Girifushi Harbour Development project has been completed.

MTCC also updated ongoing works stating that breakwater construction is underway with 62% competion.

Under the project to develop Girifushi Harbour, MTCC has to construct 268 meter breakwater and 46 meter of channel breakwater.

The MVR 18.3 million worth project was awarded to MTCC by Maldives National Defence Force (MNDF). 

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
