Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the project site has been mobilized to begin Ha. Baarah Channel and Maintenance Dredging Project.
Under the project, an area of 755 meters long, 33 meters wide and 8 meters deep will be dredged. In addition, the project also includes the dredging of the existing harbour by 3.5 meters.
The project is worth MVR 12.17 million.
In the past three years, MTCC has completed several harbour construction, land reclamation and beach protection projects.
