Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has commenced Nellaidhoo Coastal Protection Project, following Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) approval.
The project was commenced on Tuesday after the approval of Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA). Under the project, the revetment of 870 meters of land will be carried out.
The MVR 19.8 million project was awarded to MTCC to be completed within 250 days.
During the past three years, MTCC has completed several Harbour construction, land reclamation and Coastal Protection projects.
