Ooredoo Maldives Plc has announced that the company’s Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at Crossroads Maldives on March 7, 2022, at 2030 hrs
Shareholders can register to attend the AGM either physically (“In-Person”) or virtually (“online”).
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic and for the safety of Shareholders, the number of Shareholders who can attend the AGM by being physically present at the AGM venue, will be limited in accordance with Maldives Government restrictions applicable at the time of the AGM and physical distancing requirements to be maintained at the AGM venue. Therefore, shareholders can register to attend the AGM either physically or virtually
According to Ooredoo, Shareholders (who have indicated a preference to physically attend the AGM venue and join the AGM) will be informed by 1800 hrs on March 6, 2022, if they can do so or if attendance will have to be online.
Moreover, Shareholders attending the AGM online will need to participate through the Online Meeting Management System “FahiVote” of the Maldives Securities Depository Company Pvt Ltd (MSD).
Furthermore, only shareholders who Pre-Register to attend or appoint a Proxy, by no later than 2030 hrs on March 5, 2022 will be able to participate at the AGM. And they have to submit a copy of the Vaccination Card or Covid-19 Digital Certification issued by the Health Protection Agency (showing completion of prescribed doses of a Covid-19 vaccine) when requesting to attend the AGM In-Person.
According to Ooredoo Maldives, only those registered as shareholders of the company before February 17, 2022 will be able to participate in this year’s Annual General Meeting. Moreover, all persons (including legal entities) registered as shareholders of the Company before 1400hrs of February 17, 2022 are eligible to receive dividends, attend the AGM of the Company in person or by proxy, and to participate and vote in person or by proxy.
