Ihavandhoo Council has decided to lease land to build Fibre Vessels in the Island.
According to the announcement by the council, those interested in acquiring land for building Fibre Vessels are requested to visit council from February 20, 2022 to 1300hrs on February 28, 2022, to inquire further information regarding the announcement.
Moreover, according to council, land will be leased to interested parties having business registration (Partnership, Sole Proprietorship, Company, and Local Investment). Also, individuals can apply for the land plots.
Furthermore, proposals can be submitted to Council on March 6, 2022, at 1300hrs. And the council requests to bring an official letter and copy of the registry/ID card, if the person submitting the bid is different from the person who came for inquiring the information.
Ihavandhoo is one of the most famous islands for fishing in the Maldives. Moreover, in Ihavandhoo building of fiberglass fishing vessels is widely practiced, and a large number of modern fishing vessels are currently operating in the island.
