58% Dredging operations of the swimming area under Kolhufushi Shore Protection project completed: MTCC

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that the 58% dredging operations of the swimming area for the Construction of Shore Protection Structures at M. Kolhufushi has been completed.

Under the project to protect the shore area of Kolhufushi MTCC has to add 9683 cubic meters of sand to beach, construction of 202 meters of breakwater, and 519 meters of revetment.

The project is worth MVR 22.96 million. 

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
