Filladhoo Council has decided in council’s general meeting to build guesthouses in the Island.
During the meeting, MVR 1,400,000 was allocated as an estimated budget for developing the guesthouses. The decision was made with the unanimous consensus of the members who took part in the general meeting.
Moreover, decisions were made to charge a fee from those who sell goods and operate businesses on Dhahparu Island and releasing palm trees from the beach area for rent.
Furthermore, council approved MVR 35,000 to purchase a buggy for council, MVR 300,000 to purchase a Van, and MVR 300,000 to purchase an excavator for council. And the council issued an announcement making the decisions public.
