72% of Sh. Bilehfahi Harbour Development project completed: MTCC

Maldives Transport and Contracting Company (MTCC) has stated that 72% of Sh. Bileffahi Harbour Development Project has been completed. 

MTCC also updated on ongoing works stating that the second shipment of rock boulders required for breakwater construction have been delivered to the project site

Under the project, the company has to dredge 50376 cubic meters of harbour basin, construction of a 376 meter breakwater, and 98 meter quay wall. In addition, the installation of navigation lights, installation of streetlights, and construction of 1565 square meter paved area will be undertaken.

The value of the project is MVR 28.42 million.

MTCC has been undertaking many development projects throughout the country including building roads, airports, land reclamation, shore protection, and harbours.
